Leonette Mapuana “Mapu” Abraham, 55, of Hilo died Dec. 16, 2015, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a registrar clerk for Waiakea High School and member of Zion House of Praise Holiness Church where she taught Sunday School and participated in women’s ministries. Mariano Ragasa Rabara, 77, of Keaau died May 26 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Bulala, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines, he was a landscaper.
