Hilo High School’s Hilo Viking Robotics club is accepting applications for its summer youth robotics program, Camp Eureka, July 11-15 in the campus cafeteria.

Hilo High School’s Hilo Viking Robotics club is accepting applications for its summer youth robotics program, Camp Eureka, July 11-15 in the campus cafeteria.

Youth are invited to come and learn about programming and robot building from HVR students that have competed in VEX robotics and FIRST robotics competitions on Oahu and the Big Island.

Programming sessions will be from 8 a.m.-noon and a robot-building sessions will be from 1-5 p.m. each day of the camp. Students will use a variety of platforms to learn the fundamentals of programming and will explore the components of a robot in-depth.
