The Ironman 70.3 Hawaii qualifier event will cause a temporary one-way traffic pattern to be in effect Saturday on Old Puako Road in the South Kohala District.

From 4:30-9:30 a.m., traffic will flow only in the Kona, or southerly, direction on Old Puako Road between the entrance to Hapuna Beach State Park and the entrance to Waialea Bay, aka “69 Beach.”

Residents will be allowed access as traffic allows.
