Tricked-out muscle cars, motorcycles and trucks will rumble into Hilo on Saturday for the second annual 808_Fuel, Paradise Automotive Kolors and OSMD Hawaii Car Show to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children Honolulu.

Tricked-out muscle cars, motorcycles and trucks will rumble into Hilo on Saturday for the second annual 808_Fuel, Paradise Automotive Kolors and OSMD Hawaii Car Show to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children Honolulu.

The noncompetitive charity event that takes place from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at 1177 Kilauea Ave., the future site of Lex Brodie’s next to KWXX. General admission tickets are $5 and there is a $5 fee for each vehicle and motorcycle to show. All proceeds will go toward Shriners Hospitals.

In addition to the chrome and testosterone, there will be live entertainment, food booths and vendors, said Mike Balbarino, 808_Fuel co-founder and president.

“Purchase a lucky number and you could be the winner of a Mazda MPV van donated by Ken’s Towing, along with others prizes,” Balbarino said.

“This is for the keiki of Hawaii that are treated at Shriners and to give back to Shriners for everything they do for keiki and their families,” said car show co-organizer Daryl Sampaga, who started the nonprofit Operation Sammy Muscular Dystrophy Hawaii.
