Police are seeking a 70-year-old man they say “may be armed and dangerous.”
Edmond Rodrigues is wanted for questioning in a criminal investation and was last seen in Hilo at noon Monday. He’s described as 5-foot-9 with a meduim build with salt-and-pepper hair and a mustache. He has a tattoo of a dragon on his right lower leg and a “Nainoa” on his left lower leg. He was last seen wearing black shorts and a white T-shirt. He may be driving a 1994 white Toyota 4Runner.
Rodrigues was reported missing and his family is concerned about his well-being, but since he may be armed, police warn the public not to approach him.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
