Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect or suspects who vandalized the Pahoa Post Office.

Between April 26 and 27, locking mechanisms were pried open on three post office boxes, causing damage. The monetary value of the damage is still pending.

Between April 27 and 28, locking mechanisms were pried open on two post office boxes, causing $100 in damage.

Anyone with any information about these incidents is asked to call Officer Roberto Segobia at 965-2716 or the police non-emergency line at 935-3311. Those who anonymity may call Crime Stoppers 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

The public is also encouraged to call the police to report any suspicious activity at a post office.
