A Hilo man faces a felony theft charge after being found in possession of property belonging to the county, police said.

A Hilo man faces a felony theft charge after being found in possession of property belonging to the county, police said.

On Wednesday morning, police arrested 26-year-old Winson Reiong of Hilo on a bench warrant for contempt of court. He was in possession of a two-way radio belonging to a county agency. Police determined the radio had been missing since April 22.

Reiong was charged with second-degree theft and contempt of court. His bail was set at $5,500. His initial court appearance is scheduled for today.
