Ian Pierce Haight, 53, of Kihei, Maui, formerly of Waimea, died April 9 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. Celebration of life 10 a.m. Saturday (April 30) at Kahilu Town Hall in Waimea. Survived by his parents, Suzanne and Warren Haight; son, Spencer H.B. Haight; daughter, Mariah L.L. Haight; sister, Paula Haight; nieces and nephews.

Ichiro Hirayama, 76, of Hilo died March 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kumamoto, Japan, he was a retired groundskeeper for the state Airports Division. Services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by wife, Mae Hirayama of Hilo; daughters, Amy (Radford) Hirai of Hilo and Lynn (Solomon) Scott of Ohio; sister, Kuniko (Douglas) Tsuda of Hilo; five grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Dorsey Tomiyoshi Ito, 78, of Captain Cook died April 3 at home. Born in Kealakekua, he was an assistant vice president for Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank of California, computer operator for GloreForgan, Wm. R. Staats and computer operations manager for All State Savings & Loan and Sears Savings Bank, and U.S. Army veteran. Services held. Survived by sister, Kay Uejio of Cypress, Calif.; caregiver, Byron Ito of Captain Cook; five nephews, a niece, cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Lisa Kaimi Nihipali-Wailani, 51, of Hilo died April 10 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Nanakuli, Oahu, she was a stay-at-home mom for numerous hanai children and member of New Hope Christian Fellowship. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday (April 30) at New Hope Hilo, 840 Kupulau Rd. Celebration of life at 11 a.m. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Cremation to follow at Dodo Mortuary. Survived by husband, Darren P. Wailani of Hilo; daughters, Kehaulani (Randall) Wailani Nihipali of Keaau, Ku‘uleilani (Chris) Wailani Nihipali, Kanani (Ralph) Wailani Nihipali and Kahealani (Leilani) Wailani Nihapali of Hilo; sons, Kalina Wailani Nihipali and Kaika Nihipali-Wailani of Hilo; seven grandchildren; sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, hanai children.
