As a result of the nine search warrants executed Tuesday, at various locations in Hilo, Kona, Waimea and Honokaa, 124 gambling machines were confiscated, plus about $150,000 in cash, police said Wednesday.

Three persons were arrested on suspicion of gambling: 30-year-old Justin D. Alpert of Kailua-Kona, 22-year-old Brenda K. Reynolds of Kailua-Kona, and 36-year-old Rodney K. Worley of Honokaa. All three were released pending further investigation.

Police previously incorrectly identified one of the establishments as being on Lanikaula Street in Hilo. The correct location was on Kawailani Street.
