A 35-year-old extended furlough inmate is being sought by police and state sheriff’s deputies for failing to report to Hale Nani Reintegration Center in Hilo for his scheduled check-in Thursday night.

A 35-year-old extended furlough inmate is being sought by police and state sheriff’s deputies for failing to report to Hale Nani Reintegration Center in Hilo for his scheduled check-in Thursday night.

Daniel Abraham is 5’8” tall and weighs 170 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Abraham was incarcerated for felony assault, kidnapping and a firearms offense. Escape is expected to be added to his charges.

He was scheduled for a parole hearing in June.

Anyone who sees Abraham or knows his whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311.
