The Dragons (7-3) moved 1 1/2 games ahead of Hawaii Prep (5-4) in first place, with two regular season games remaining this week at Waiakea and Pahoa.

Manato Fukuda scored a game-high 22 points for the Cardinals (5-5), who have lost two in a row but remain in third place in D-II. Cole DeSilva scored 12.

Honokaa’s JV won 65-32.

Keaau 41, Hawaii Prep 37: Rico Handy scored 18 points and Charles Caldwell chipped in with 10 as the host Cougars (3-7) won their second game in a row.

Jonas Skupeika scored 15 points for Ka Makani (5-4), who have lost four of five.

Hilo 47, Pahoa 44: Isaac Liu scored 14 points and Lawrence Padasdao added 13 as the Vikings held off the Daggers, strengthening their grip on the final playoff spot in Division I.

The Vikings (6-5) can clinch the No. 4 seed on Tuesday with a win at Keaau, or if Kealakehe loses a home against Konawaena.

Keinan Agonias scored 21 points for the Daggers (4-5), who remained a game ahead of Kohala for the final playoff spot in Division II.

Hilo won the JV game 47-44.

Kamehameha 72, Ka’u 24: Bayley Manliguis (13 points), David Kalili (11) and Isaiah Ignacio (10) scored in double figures in Pahala as the Warriors (7-3) won their second in a row.

Kainalu Medeiros-Dancel led the Trojans (1-9) with 13 points.

In JV, the Warriors won 61-38.

Kainalu Emiliano Solomon had 12 points in the loss for the Cowboys (4-7), who still have an outside shot at the playoffs.

Kealakehe 74, Laupahoehoe 28: The visiting Waveriders improved to 4-6 while the Seasiders fell to 0-10.
