Big Isle Realtor earns notable designation

Hawaii Island Realtor Mealoha Kraus was awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.

Realtors who receive the CRS designation have completed advanced professional training and demonstrated outstanding professional achievement in residential real estate. Only 37,000 Realtors nationwide have earned the credential.

Kraus is a real estate sales agent with Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers. She is a member of Hawaii Island Realtors where she serves as chairwoman of the education committee and was president in 2012.

In 2009, Kraus was voted Realtor of the Year by the members of HIR. She also is an original member and current treasurer of the Paradise Roller Girls.
