The state Department of Health is reporting one new case of dengue fever on the Big Island, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 93.

The state Department of Health is reporting one new case of dengue fever on the Big Island, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 93.

Of those cases, 80 have involved Hawaii residents and 13 are visitors, DOH said.

Twenty-three children have been infected.
