The Merveilles Hawaii Drum and Dance Conference is slated for Nov. 4-8 in North Kohala.

Join eight West African artists at the Hawaii Island Retreat for five amazing days of dance and drumming. Don’t miss the opportunity to dance with internationally renowned master artists Gabriel Fara Tolno, Youssouf Koumbassa, Naby Bangoura, Marietou Camara, Fode Bangoura, Soriba Fofana, Lamine Bangoura and Sekou Camara.

The conference will feature hula, Tahitian and daily yoga.

The Kissidugu West African All-Stars will be featured during a 4 p.m. event Nov. 8 at the retreat. The event also will feature the Lavaroots Dance Company.

This is an outdoor event.

Tickets, which are available at the retreat in Kohala, are $20 for adults, $10 for seniors and children 15 and younger and keiki 5 and younger are free.
