Add it all up, and the No. 8 Rainbow Wahine had an easy time of it Friday night, sweeping Cal State Northridge 25-19, 25-16, 25-16 in Honolulu for their 10th consecutive victory.

Led by Nikki Taylor’s 14 kills, UH (15-1, 5-0 Big West) hit season-best .405. The Matadors (4-13, 3-2) hit only .102, thanks in part to 14 blocks by Hawaii, which is first in the nation in blocks. Olivia Magill finished with eight.

Kalei Greeley hit a career-high .692 for nine kills, Hilo native Tai Manu-Olevao added 10, and libero Savanah Kahakai came through with 14 digs.

Both teams were anemic with their serves. Hawaii had two aces and 10 errors, while Northridge made eight errors with only one ace.

Taylor had four of the service errors, but she led her team with double-digit kills for the 15th time this season.

Hawaii, which has won its last 19 sets, hosts defending league champion Long Beach State at 5 p.m. Sunday (OCSports).

Lidia Battaglia scored her second career goal for the Wahine (3-9-1, 0-3-0), which outshot the Highlanders (7-6-0, 1-1-0) 10-7.

Hawaii will continue its search for its first road and league wins Sunday at Cal State Fullerton.
