Born in Kapaau, she was a former room service captain for Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel and member of Gospel of Salvation Church. Dr. Andrew Lane Morgan, 95, of Puako died Sept. 29 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired urological surgeon, former chief of urology and chairman of the Department of Surgery at The Queen’s Medical Center, past member of the Renal Transplant Team at St. Francis Hospital and past president of the American Urological Association-Western Section and member of St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church. Raymond Shimooka, 84, of Aiea died Oct. 3 at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Papaaloa, he was retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Supply Center and the U.S. Army, and was a Vietnam War veteran.
