Aloha Performing Arts Company will host a fall break acting camp for youth ages 8-12, taught by award-winning actor, instructor, and playwright Engela Edwards, founder and former executive director of Easy Theatre in Austin, Texas.

Edwards’ camp will meet 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Oct. 5-9, at the Aloha Theatre, 79-7384 Mamalahoa Highway in Kainaliu. Students will need to bring lunch each day. An afternoon snack and all materials necessary for the camp will be provided.

There will be plenty of fun and laughter through storytelling as the youngsters perform a variety of tales such as “The Brementown Musicians,” “The Billy Goats Gruff,” “The Lion and the Mouse,” “Monkey See, Monkey Do” and “The Magic Fish.”

A final performance, which is free and open to the public, will be presented at the end of the last day of camp. Tuition is $150, and discounts for multiple family members are available.
