VA home loan specialist Tony Dias will host a free VA home loan seminar from 10 a.m.-noon Aug. 29 at the ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
The seminar will inform veterans how to use their VA home loan benefit to purchase or refinance a home up to $625,500 with no money down and no private mortgage insurance. Dias also will discuss having more than one VA loan at a time and obtaining a VA home loan for a property with water catchment or in a lava zone.
Dias has been educating veterans here in Hawaii, California and Washington for more than eight years and assisted thousands of families and veterans who have served and earned their VA home loan benefit. In the past two years, Dias and his team have helped more than 900 families achieve their goal/dream of home ownership.
Dias is the branch manager for Veterans United Home Loans of Hawaii.
