Hawaii County has closed two roads in Hamakua as heavy rainfall creates flooding conditions in some areas.

Hawaii County has closed two roads in Hamakua as heavy rainfall creates flooding conditions in some areas.

The closed roads are Apelehama Road near Kalopa State Park and Kapuna Road in Ahualoa.

All highways are open at this time, though drivers should be prepared for possible ponding, runoff and other hazardous conditions, the county said.

The Big Island remains under a flood advisory.
