Last Sunday, July 19, marked the 50th Memorial Ceremony of Dr. Syngman Rhee, founding president of The Republic of Korea.
Rhee spent 25 years of his life in Hawaii fighting for the independence movement of Korea and later became exiled in Hawaii. The Founding President Syngman Rhee Society President Donald C.W. Kim and Vice President Don D.K. Kim along with other supporters hosted a banquet at the Waialae Country Club with VIPS of the Korean community along with Dr. In Soo Rhee, son of Rhee).
Appreciation plaques were given to Maunalani Nursing and Rehab Center, where Rhee spent his last years, and to Wilbert Choi, who helped Rhee in Hawaii. A family descendent, Cedric Choi accepted the plaque.

But Min-jung’s mother shows up and tells everyone Min-jung told her to switch the dress. In-hwa is furious when Soo-mi decides to make Bo-ri her apprentice.

7:45 p.m. Monday: Yoon-ha tries to appease Ji-yi’s anger when Ji-yi finds out about her true identity. Chang-soo runs into Joon-gi’s old girlfriend at a club and gets surprising news. Ye-won puts a tail on Yoon-ha to secure her position as the heir to Taejin Group. 7:45p.m. Tuesday: Yoon-ha, Joon-gi, Chang-soo and Ji-yi take a trip to Chang-soo’s summerhouse. Yoon-ha and Ji-yi enjoy their getaway, but Joon-gi and Chang-soo get into a fight. Ye-won finds out about Joon-gi and decides to use him against Yoon-ha.

7:45 p.m. Wednesday: Ji-sook starts to behave more like Eun-ha. When Min-woo tries to take his meds, Ji-sook bumps into him on purpose to stop him. Mi-yeon gets ahold of a fatal evidence against Seok-hoon, but she can’t bring herself to see it. 7:45 p.m. Thursday: Ji-sook gets a birthday present Eun-ha sent herself a year ago, and finds out about Eun-ha and Seok-hoon’s plot to kill Min-woo. The fact makes Ji-sook care even more about Min-woo. Min-woo prepares a special birthday gift for Eun-ha (Ji-sook).

7:45 p.m. Friday: Ha-na ignores office gossip and goes on an overnight business trip with Sung-jae. Ha-na is attracted to Sung-jae, who aggressively pursues her. Won pretends that doesn’t bother him, but he is bothered by Sung-jae’s presence. 7:45 p.m. Saturday: Ha-na falls off a bike and breaks her arm. Ha-na’s family, who have been suspicious of Ha-na and Won’s relationship, decide to take a family trip without Ha-na, leaving Won to care for her.
