The College of Continuing Education and Community Service at the University of Hawaii at Hilo will conduct an introductory class on social media.

A workshop is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. July 16 in Mookini Library, Room 359. Tuition is $55; parking is free.

Social Media for Beginners will explain the differences between popular social media types, how to set up your account, manage privacy settings and much more. Basic computer skills and a flash drive are required.
