Kane-Yates had seven hits in three games and was a doubles machine.

In the final, a 14-1 victory against North Hawaii, he doubled with two hits, two RBIs and three runs scored.

Kane-Yates comes from good baseball bloodlines. He’s the nephew of former Major League Baseball pitcher Tyler Yates, who played at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.

But as you can see from his answers, sometimes the star power of the Los Angeles Angels’ Mike Trout is tough to overcome.
