Police say a man’s body was found Friday morning under a bridge along the Hamakua Coast.
In response to a 9:10 a.m. call, officers were assigned to the the Nanue Bridge in the Umauma area near the 18-mile marker of Hawaii Belt Road (Highway 19). The man’s lifeless body was discovered at the bottom of the bridge.
Hilo Criminal Investigations Section detectives are investigating.
