The Hilo Medical Center and Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua invite the public to community input meetings to discuss the announced workforce and service reductions.

The first meeting is at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Hilo Medical Center’s Learning Center, second floor, 1190 Waianuenue Ave. Home-care closure also will be discussed. Call 932-3100 for more information.

The second meeting starts at 4:30 p.m. June 15 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua, on the lanai, 45-547 Plumeria St. in Honokaa.

The purpose of the meetings is to obtain community comments regarding service cutbacks and job losses at the health care facilities. Everyone is welcome to attend and share feedback at the meetings. For more information, call 932-4100.
