Police say two burglars broke into a downtown Hilo supermarket early Sunday morning.

According to a statement, the two males broke into the warehouse of the Kinoole Street Sack ’n’ Save at about 1:35 a.m. and took alcohol and other beverages.

The two, whose images were captured on surveillance images, are described as in their mid-teens to early 20s, with slim builds. Both were wearing dark shorts and light-colored “hoodies.”

Anyone who knows their identities or has other information about the burglary is asked to call the police nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer anonymity may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
