The Nittany Lion senior Aaron Russell hammered 20 kills and hit .239 while Nick Goodell (19 kills, .378) and Chris Nugent (15 killls, .400) added to the offense.

Penn State (21-9) had more errors errors, 23-18, and the Rainbow Warriors (24-7), hit better, .327-.298, in a match of constant fireworks.

Taylor Averill had 15 kills on a .609 hitting clip. Sinisa Zarkovic added 13 kills and hit .269. They were the only UH players in double-digit kills.
