The 38.2-pound ono was reeled in aboard Last Cast.

Six of eight boats entered caught qualifying flag fish and nine ono and three mahimahi were weighed in.

Captain Gil Kuali’i and angler Leia DeMello lured the second-largest fish, a 36.2-pound ono aboard the Honey Girl, while the largest mahimahi (35.2) was landed on the Kay LC 5 by captain and angler Aric Okuda.

Two boats qualified for grand champion by landing two of the four flag fish. The Kay LC 5 edged Honey Girl with a mahimahi and ono that added up to a 70.7 pounds. The Honey Girl took the gift certificate donated by S. Tokunaga Store for the first flag fish landed in the tournament.
