Charles Isami Kajikawa, 74, of Mountain View died Sunday at his residence. Born on Dec. 4, 1940, he was a retired civil engineer and member of the Puna Hongwanji Buddhist Temple and was a U.S. Army veteran. Harry Kazumi Matsuoka, 75, of Hilo died April 25 at Hilo Medical Center. Born on Jan. 16, 1940, in Hilo, he grew up in Amauulu Camp 1, was a custodian at Hilo High School, was on the Road Crew for Hilo Coast Processing and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Visitation from 9-10 a.m. Monday, May 11, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m., with inurnment to follow at Homelani Memorial Park Main Chapel. Casual attire; no flowers.
