Highway 11 near Punaluu was reopened Monday evening after a brush fire burned more than 200 acres in the area.
The fire resulted in the closure of the highway between mile markers 56 and 57. Police announced at about 9:30 p.m. that the road was reopened.
The fire was reported at 12:15 p.m.
