The Rotary Club of South Hilo will feature two Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning musicians at its upcoming 11th annual Hilo Huli from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. May 3 at Moku Ola (Coconut Island).

The all-you-can eat and drink event will feature three-time Hoku-award winner Kainani Kahaunaele and 2014 Alternative Album of the Year winner Amanda Frazier.

Kahaunaele, a Kauai native, received Hoku awards for her debut album “Na‘u ‘Oe,” including Female Vocalist of the Year.

Frazier was born in Japan and grew up on Oahu. Her band has played extensively on Oahu and completed a Japan tour in 2013.

“We’re very excited to have such talented artists coming to the Hilo Huli this year. It’s going to be a really great day,” said event chairwoman Lisa Kwee.

The Rotary Club of South Hilo’s Hilo Huli attracts nearly 1,000 people each year with proceeds going to nonprofit organizations and projects in the community.

Funds raised at this year’s event will go to support Hospice of Hilo’s Keiki Bereavement Program, Hilo Medical Center Foundation Physicians’ Residency Program, the Big Island Substance Abuse Council and other projects throughout the community.

Tickets for the event are available online at www.hilohuli.org, from Rotary Club of South Hilo members, at Uncle Billy’s, Aiona Car Sales, Hilo Hawaiian Hotel and the Most Irresistible Shop in Hilo.
