“We wanted to give back to our Hawaiian community and just felt this is one fun way to do that,” said Kika Nixon, guest services manager at Botanical World Adventures. “Every child will receive candy or a small prize. Plus, free rides on our Zip Isle zip line tour and on our unique Segway Rainforest tour will be given away.”

The egg hunts will start at 10 a.m. each day. Children will gather the eggs then turn them in for candy or prizes. Admission to the park’s World Botanical Gardens is free for children and families attending the egg hunts.

A special sunrise service by the Hilo Coast United Church of Christ also will take place at Botanical World on Easter Sunday at 6 a.m. The service will be at the Kamaee Falls overlook, with easy to access to a tented site, rain or shine. The public is welcome.

Botanical World Adventures is north of Hilo at the 16-mile marker on Highway 19. For more information, call 963-5427, toll free at 888-947-4753, or go online at ZipIsle.com or BotanicalWorld.com.
