Alfredo S. Salvador Sr., 86, of Naalehu died Feb. 5. Born in the Philippines, he was a retired laborer for Mac Farms of Hawaii. Visitation 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at Naalehu Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 95-5558 Mamalahoa Hwy. Mass at 10 a.m. Survived by sons, Patrick (Mila) Salvador of Naalehu and Alfredo (Levanda) Salvador Jr. of Keauhou; daughters, Narcisa (Richard) Pedrena of San Diego, Bernadette (Jay) Hashimoto of Hilo, Paz (Julito Balais) Salvador of Honolulu, and May Ann (Alberto Salmo) Salvador of Naalehu; brother, Gerardo Salvador Sr. of the Philippines; daughter-in-law, Evangeline Salvador of Maui; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Edgar Arnold Cambra, 78, of Pahoa died Feb. 27. Born on Kaua‘, he was a rock crusher for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. and a veteran of the U.S. Army, Army National Guard and Marine Corps.
