Robert E. Heidenfeldt, 88, of Hilo died Dec. 11 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Tonawanda, N.Y., he was a retired state Child Support Enforcement Agency investigator, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and Korean War U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of the National Rifle Association. Visitation from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Dodo Mortuary chapel. Prayer service at 6 p.m. Graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Aloha attire. No flowers.
