“I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to share my ideas on such a large platform like the Huffington Post,” Preston-Pita said.
Preston-Pita has a doctorate in clinical psychology and is a certified substance abuse counselor. She is an expert on substance abuse and rural mental health care issues. She will use her HuffPost blog to share ideas about these areas.
“I hope to be able make some impact by shining light on the challenges our communities face with these issues,” Preston-Pita said.
The Huffington Post is an American online news aggregator and blog. The local edition, HuffPost Hawaii was launched Sept. 4, 2013.
