The Pahoa Holiday Parade strides down Pahoa Village Road Saturday morning in Pahoa despite the slowly encroaching June 27 lava flow. The parade started at Pahoa High School at 9:30am and ended at Post Office Road with a theme of “Pahoa, Center of the Punaverse.” Immediately following the parade, there was a Ho’olau’lea in that included a vendor fair, Santa photos for keiki, entertainment and the Sacred Heart Holiday Fair.
