The Hawaii Wood Guild 29th Annual Show will be hosted by Isaacs Art Gallery in Waimea from Jan. 17-Feb. 21. This is a premiere event with some of the most talented wood artisans in Hawaii.
The Hawaii Wood Guild 29th Annual Show will be hosted by Isaacs Art Gallery in Waimea from Jan. 17-Feb. 21. This is a premiere event with some of the most talented wood artisans in Hawaii.
This is open to island residents who are wood artists. The show is juried by the guild board to make sure that entries meet high standards of craftsmanship.
There are four categories that will be juried by three guest judges, who will share their expertise in four categories: Joinery, Turning, Sculpture and Open, which is a combination of any of these categories.
Also, there will be a Best of Show awarded by the judges. A People’s Choice award will be given at the end of the show by a tally of votes entered by persons who attended the show.
