“No money? No excuse, as some financial assistance is available,” said Frannie Pueo, founder of the nonprofit group. Payment is accepted via checks and credit cards.

To register for the clinic, call 968-8279 or email@hphhawaii.org.

Hui Pono Holoholona is an all-volunteer organization that helps the community be pet-responsible via education and by making affordable spaying and neutering for cats and dogs available.

“Be a part of the humane solution. Be your pet’s hero,” Pueo said. “Spay-and/neuter funds need to be stretched over as many animals as possible, so we ask you to contribute what you can to the cost and/or volunteer, if you can.”
