Because of the recent storm, the Hawaii Island Landscape Association and the University of Hawaii Cooperative Extension Service rescheduled the fifth annual Landscape Management Conference and Trade Show to Nov. 2 at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel.

The event provides practical management tools for professional landscape gardeners, arborists and tree workers, and also is open to property managers and the public. The program features a lineup of speakers from Hawaii Island, including local experts from the nursery and landscape industry, as well as UH.

With two tracks of seminars, attendees can choose classes on tree care, turf and ornamental plant management. The trade show features the latest products and services offered to Big Island landscapers and home gardeners from local suppliers.

There still is time to participate as a tradeshow vendor.

Cost for the conference is $110 for HILA members and $130 for non-members. Continental breakfast and lunch are included.
