Dalen Yamauchi was the only Vulcan below 10-over. The senior was tied for 14th place at 5-over 149, far in front of Kyeton Littel (12-over), who was tied for 53rd. James Coon was another shot back, slumping after an opening-round 75, while David Tottori and Ric Yamamoto were both 14-over in a tie for 58th.

Nova Southeastern (8-under) paced the 18-team field, while Nova’s Richard Mansell and Cal State Monterey Bay’s Robby Salomon were tied for the lead at 2-under.
