Puna Hongwanji Mission postponed its annual rummage sale because of the impending arrival of Tropical Storm Ana.

Puna Hongwanji Mission postponed its annual rummage sale because of the impending arrival of Tropical Storm Ana.

The rummage sale now is planned for 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 25.

As always, the rummage sale will have all types of household items plus clothing, bedding, electronics, DVDs, trolling skirts, scrounges and many more items. The food booth will have bentos, andagi, baked goods, pickled daikon, spam musubi and laulau and smoked meat also will be for sale.

A silent auction is planned to be hosted in the garage area, as well.

Proceeds from the rummage sale will go toward maintenance of the temple.

The public is encouraged to attend.
