Donations are welcomed for the annual Kaumana Elementary School PTSA-sponsored Rummage Sale. The sale is scheduled for 7 a.m.-noon Saturday in the school cafeteria.

Money raised during the benefit provides funds for class expenses, excursions and cultural plays, according to spokesperson Noelani Spencer.

“We would like to ask our community to donate to this yearly educational fundraising event to help defray (the costs of) classroom needs, cultural events/performances, and field trips,” Spencer said.

Donations of recycled treasures will be accepted from 2:30-5 p.m. Thursday and 2:30-6 p.m. Friday. Donation receipts will be given upon request. No computers and monitors will be accepted.

If you have any questions, contact Spencer at 974-4190 daily after 2:15 p.m., or at Noelani_Spencer@notes.k12.hi.us.

“On the day of the sale, please come out and support our students so we can provide them with many learning opportunities,” Spencer said. “There will be many treasures for sale at reasonable prices. We are sure you will find something to suit your fancy.”
