Hilo’s OL’ School Band has released its new CD, “Versatil.”

“We’re versatile. We play everything, and that’s why we titled the CD ‘Versatil,’” said bandleader Delis Estabilio Sr., who plays acoustic guitar and sings. “It’s all originals on the CD, no covers.”

Estabilio and the rest of the band all are local music industry veterans: Leroy Pasalo on lead electric guitar and vocals; Dave Kanemitsu on lead electric guitar; Randy Ioane on bass and vocals; and Ben Legaspi Jr. on drums.

The first release event is tonight at 7 p.m. at Coqui’s Hideaway Sports Bar in Hilo. The next is 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at E Komo Mai Lounge in Hilo. The band then will travel to West Hawaii for a party from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Ray’s On the Bay in the Sheraton Kona Resort &Spa at Keauhou Bay.
