Central Pacific Bank recently announced it donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross to help residents on the Big Island and Maui who were affected by Hurricane Iselle.
Central Pacific Bank recently announced it donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross to help residents on the Big Island and Maui who were affected by Hurricane Iselle.
The money will help American Red Cross continue its efforts to provide food, shelter, relief supplies, emotional support, recovery planning and other assistance to those in need.
In addition to the cash donation, CPB also launched a hurricane assistance loan program, which features low interest rates, flexible loan terms, reduced monthly payments, fast approval and quick funding. Loan amounts range from $1,000 to $15,000 with terms up to 48 months.
“We hope that the affected families will continue to get the basic necessities and some comfort during this difficult time,” said John Dean, chairman and CEO of Central Pacific Bank. “And we are also hopeful that the loan assistance program will help ease the financial burden that some of these families may be facing.”
