Cheyanne Kaui-onalani Duvauchelle Keliihoomalu of Molokai has been named Miss Rodeo Hawaii 2014.

Cheyanne Kaui-onalani Duvauchelle Keliihoomalu of Molokai has been named Miss Rodeo Hawaii 2014.

She recently graduated from the University of Hawaii at Hilo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science and a minor in mathematics.

Keliihoomalu will represent the 50th state during the Miss Rodeo America Pageant in Las Vegas during the Wrangler’s National Finals Rodeo Dec. 4-13 at the MGM Grand Hotel &Casino.

She grew up on Molokai in Maunaloa town, where her family’s history of working for Molokai Ranch spans six generations. In addition, she has spent years participating in the Hawaii High School Rodeo Association, other Molokai rodeos and the Molokai 4-H Livestock Club.
