Charlene Fay Andresen, 55, of Pahoa died July 17 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Oregon, she was a waitress. Celebration of life will 1 p.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, 595 Kapiolani St., Hilo. Survived by sons, Joshua Michael Baughman and Justin Lee Baughman; mother, Theresa L. James Francis Gregory, 90, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 14 at home. Born in Chicago, he was a retired real estate broker, a decorated U.S. Army war hero in World War II Battle of the Bulge, recipient of two Silver Stars, two Purple Hearts and Bronze Stars. Graveside service and burial with military honors 9 a.m. Friday at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery in Kailua-Kona. Survived by wife, Joyce Gregory of Kailua-Kona; sons, Jeffrey Gregory of Stuart, Fla., J. Douglas Gregory of Hilo, Stuart Gregory of Mountain View, and Craig Schade of Heber City, Utah; daughter, Wendy Hewlett of Maui; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one niece. Clarence “Spida” “Boy” Noa Kahele, 69, of Hilo died July 27 at Hilo Medical Center. H was born in Hilo. Visitation 4-5 p.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Murray A. Pratt, 89, of Papaikou died August 3 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Crawfordsville, Ark., he was a former minister and member of the Wainaku and Marshallese congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses and U.S. Army veteran during World War II and Korean and Vietnam wars.
