Police have charged a 36-year-old Papaaloa man for several offenses, stemming from an incident on Aug. 2 in Hilo, as well as an incident in Laupahoehoe on April 1.

Police have charged a 36-year-old Papaaloa man for several offenses, stemming from an incident on Aug. 2 in Hilo, as well as an incident in Laupahoehoe on April 1.

Timothy J. Nacis, who was the subject of a wanted bulletin by police, was charged with two counts of property damage, two firearms offenses, four counts of terroristic threatening, plus unauthorized entry into a dwelling and felony theft.

According to police, the Hilo incident in Hilo involved Nacis threatening several individuals at a Kaumana home, breaking windows and making threats with a firearm. The Laupahoehoe incident involved the theft of a large Honda generator.

Nacis was being held at the Hilo police cellblock awaiting his initial court appearance.
