The Lightning Soccer Academy U-10 team came away with gold medals at the Aloha International Cup from July 17 to 20 at the Waipio Soccer Complex on Oahu.
The team, which won the Hawaii Youth Soccer Association island championship in May, took home the title with a 3-1 victory.
Seven of the players are from Hilo, four from Waikoloa and one from Kohala.
The members of the team are Johan Zarate, Daniel Avendano, Kanai Eckhart, Julian Parks, Kasen Mehau, Jase Ambrosio, Tyrus Arakawa, Michael DeCotio III, Drake Okumura, Colton Kahiamoe, Michelle Gonzalez.
