Toshie Takayama, 83, of Hilo died Thursday at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kurtistown, she was a retired cook and a member of Mokichi Okada Association, Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, and Kaumana 1 Mile Kumiai.
