The state Department of Transportation announced these lane closures for this week, weather permitting:

• On Volcano Highway (Highway 11) between Keaau and Mountain View, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between mile markers 8.6 and 13.4, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily Monday through Friday, for pavement reconstruction.

• On Mamalahoa Highway (Highway 11) between Volcano and Kapapala Ranch, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between mile markers 45.6 and 39.5, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily Monday through Friday, for pavement reconstruction.

• On Hawaii Belt Road (Highway 19) in the vicinity of Laupahoehoe Gulch, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between mile markers 26 and 27, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily Monday through Friday, for roadway improvements.

• On Hawaii Belt Road (Highway 19), alternating lane closures on Umauma Bridge, mile marker 16, in both directions, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for bridge repairs. Speed limit on Umauma Bridge is reduced to 20 mph. Vehicles that exceed statutory size-weight limits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis upon application of their respective oversize-overweight vehicle permits. Maximum width for any vehicle with permit passing over the bridge is 12 feet.

• On Hawaii Belt Road (Highway 19) in the vicinity of Kaawalii Gulch, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between mile markers 27.9 and 29, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily Monday through Friday, for roadway improvements.
