Public political forums for state and county races in District 4 are scheduled in Hawaiian Shores.
The Hawaiian Shores Community Association (HSCA) is hosting a forum from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at the community center located at 15-859 Kahakai Boulevard in Pahoa, just past Keokepoko School. The event is free, and will include all six candidates running for the State House of Representatives from 2-3:15 p.m.
The forum with the four candidates running for County Council will be hosted from 3:30-4:45 p.m. The event will be facilitated by the HSCA Board of Directors and will include time for questions and answers.
Beverages and snacks will be served at the event. The forum is open to the general public.
